Former Nigerian Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida, has said that anyone who means well for Nigeria should support President Goodluck Jonathan to make Nigeria survive as a united nation, Channels TV reports.
General Babangida was speaking in his country home in Minna, Niger State, when President Goodluck Jonathan paid him a visit in the spirit of the season.
President Goodluck Jonathan had identified General Babangida as a national leader whose counsel is very much needed at the end of the year such as this, especially bearing in mind the insecurity in the land.
According to the President, the country is passing through some challenges and the experience of the former military Head of State would be needed if some of these challenges must be adequately tackled.
