Kaleb Whitby was trapped for about 30 minutes.
A man has miraculously walked away from a 26-vehicle pileup that left his pickup truck mangled and wedged between two tractor trailers.
Kaleb Whitby, 27, required only two Band-Aids and an ice pack after the accident on Interstate 84 in eastern Oregon on Saturday.
"Thank God that I'm still alive," Mr Whitby told The Oregonian newspaper. "Now I've got to go figure out why."

The Washington state resident was trapped inside his mangled Chevy Silverado for about 30 minutes.
He walked away from the scene after receiving treatment for minor injuries.
Twelve people were hurt in the pileup, including four who were transferred to hospitals with more serious injuries, Oregon State Police said in a release.
The accident occurred shortly before 5am local time about 130 miles (209 km) northwest of Boise, Idaho.
Authorities believe the chain-reaction crash was triggered when the driver of a tractor trailer lost control after hitting a patch of black ice.
Icy conditions were also being blamed for accidents in the northeast on Sunday.
At least 20 vehicles were involved in a pileup near Philadelphia, closing a major artery that serves the city's western suburbs. The extent of any injuries was not immediately clear.
In Connecticut, multiple accidents were reported along a busy stretch of I-95.
